Our purpose is to empower people to engage in conversations about tech that affect their lives.
Breaking down narratives to drive knowledge, debate & accountability.
Our leadership combines linguistic expertise, hands-on experience in advanced technology environments and a strong command of economic systems. With backgrounds spanning research, data-driven digital innovation and financial and regulatory analysis, they bring a uniquely multidimensional perspective to the future of technology. Their shared strength lies in translating complex technical realities into clear, societal-centered insights and grounding our work in both intellectual rigor and real-world understanding.
Our Story:
As AI began shaping everyday conversations and collective attention, it became clear that the challenge is a lack and therefore confidence to voice opinions around technology. Many feel the impact of technology, yet a few feel equipped to engage in the discussion. Our work exists to bridge that gap by ensuring that technology empowers everyone, not just a select few and helping people feel confident, informed, and included rather than overwhelmed or detached.
AI is not a topic reserved for experts
Our claim is simple: Tech & AI are not topics reserved for experts. At the same time, we highlight the value and the deciding role of experts, whose knowledge is crucial for developing the responsible solutions these challenges require.
Our organization exists to encourage thoughtful public engagement with technologies that shape society. People do not need to be experts to care about the consequences of technological change or to ask questions about it. A healthy society benefits when citizens can voice concerns and perspectives openly.
Guided by democratic and inclusive values, we create open spaces for dialogue, debate, and learning. We amplify concerns, translate complexity into digestible pieces, and shape concrete demands for a future where technology serves democratic societies. Our community is open to all—free from political, scientific, or corporate influence, and dedicated to bringing every voice into the conversation.
Find out why you should care:
When we investigate the current state of AI opinion we focused on everyday people: The neighbor who is a teacher, the Café owner around the corner or the supermarket cashier, you see almost everyday. The majority stated that they do not know enough about AI to have an opinion. What they do know though is, that they feel slightly scared if they lose their jobs to automation or live in a fully AI-fueled world which they do not want. According to 4×2 these statements are enough to form an option because both arguments are valid already.
1) You do not have to be a studied engineer, to think that the street in your community next to a playground should have a tempo limit. Your Caring for children is enough to ask for safety.
2) You do not have to be a graduated chemist or a doctor to voice that you do not want toxins in foods. Whilst you may not know how toxins function in your body or which exact illnesses they cause, you can ask for safety and regulation.
3) And finally: You don’t have to be a software engineer, AI specialist or Tech-Designer to take a stand on AI. You having doubts about job security, protection of privacy and/or worrying about addictive algorithms (or your kids screen time) is enough to raise questions and take actions, when the current development is not in your interest.

Our Mission
Our mission is to empower people to engage in conversations about tech that affect their lives. Public voices help raise the questions society must consider, while experts provide the knowledge needed to build responsible solutions.
Our Vision
We envision a society where people confidently engage in discussions about technologies that shape their lives, while experts develop responsible solutions informed by an engaged public.
